Interview with the online magazine Horst und Edeltraut

I recently spoke with the online magazine Horst and Edeltraut for an interview that has now been published on the magazine’s website.

The conversation touches on different aspects of my practice and the decisions that have shaped it so far — from the question of why I became an artist in the first place to current and upcoming projects, influences, and other artists whose work has played a role along the way.

We also talked about questions that extend beyond the studio, including the slightly more difficult one: What would you do if you could change the world? Somewhere between these larger questions, everyday life, and the work itself, the conversation also somehow ended up involving my dog Hartmann.

The interview offers a look at some of the ideas, references, and ongoing projects behind the work, as well as a few things that don’t necessarily find their way into the finished pieces.

The full interview is now available on Horst and Edeltraut
