The starting point for the works is a standardized placeholder image, as it appears in digital space when an image is missing, still loading, or unavailable. In its translation into acrylic painting on canvas, this technical symbol loses its neutrality and becomes a physical, singular object. The absence marked by the placeholder itself becomes a presence: visible, material, and exhibitable. A central element of the exhibition is the art transport crate, which is not only packaging but an integral part of the work. It refers to storage, circulation, market mechanisms, and institutional frameworks. Similar works and concepts repeatedly play a role in the artist’s oeuvre.
